At H2 Automation, we’re problem solvers. More than that, we’re family (like, literally. We’re brothers). With over 20 years of experience in the tech sector and over 15 years of experience in the construction industry, we know how to solve some problems: try, try and try again.

Why We Started

We saw a problem that we knew we had the specific experience to be able to solve and knew we had to go after it. There are so many time-saving, effort-reducing tools that most people are too intimidated to even touch for fear of messing something up. So, we decided to do something about it. H2 Automation was born. And we’re committed to you; solving your problems, making more time to spend with your family and increasing your revenue.

Shane Hamilton

Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Shane wrote his first lines of code before he could drive — building and launching his own website at just 15. By 18, he was already troubleshooting hardware and networking issues as part of the Geek Squad, developing the hands-on experience that would later power his career in software engineering.

Over the next decade, Shane worked his way through the tech ranks, contributing to multiple startups as a senior software engineer where he architected backend systems, streamlined user experiences, and optimized applications for scale. His ability to solve complex problems and build clean, maintainable systems led him into leadership roles at larger corporations, where he now serves as a trusted software team lead. Shane eventually relocated to Texas to further his career, continuing to drive innovation and build high-performing dev teams.

Shane is a senior engineer and tech lead with 15+ years shipping scalable systems, leading teams, and solving problems others walk away from. He builds fast, thinks sharp, and doesn’t flinch at chaos — whether it’s legacy code, tight deadlines, or scaling to millions. He leads with clarity, codes with intent, and drives results that stick.

Xan Hamilton

Born and raised in Nashville, TN, Xan began his professional journey flipping burgers at Steak ‘n Shake. He quickly rose through the ranks to become a corporate trainer, traveling across the country to open new stores and develop teams. When an unexpected opportunity came calling from the oilfields of North Dakota, he jumped in headfirst.

Over the next six years, Xan’s life was a whirlwind of grit and growth — launching a new Pumping Unit Services division for Weatherford International, surviving subzero winters, and even meeting the love of his life.

After returning to Tennessee, Xan stepped into restaurant management, only to realize that running a kitchen and raising a family of seven (yes, five kids!) required more than just hustle — it required balance. So, he returned to his roots in construction, working as a commercial electrician where he further sharpened his problem-solving skills.

Motivated by a desire to be more present for his family — and to build a future with more freedom — Xan pivoted once again, this time into tech. He completed a computer science vocational program and began learning web development and automation systems.

Today, he blends hands-on grit with modern digital solutions to help small businesses thrive. Xan lives in Nashville with his wife, four boys, and one fierce little girl.
